Founders Seth and Tori Bolt transformed a honeymoon gift of a single treehouse into a full-scale wellness and nature resort. Their founder-led vision and passion have guided rapid growth and innovation, including new high-end treehouses in collaboration with Arhaus, floating mirror cabins, and a one-of-a-kind Wellness Haven that Forbes called "the coolest new spa in the South."

BOLT engaged FINE to craft a digital marketing plan and program that successfully entices more people to discover the magic of their truly elevated brand of escape—a transformative wellness experience designed to help you reconnect with nature, yourself, and your purpose.

A Dynamic Dual Digital Strategy

The strategy paired a comprehensive overhaul of BOLT’s email efforts with the introduction of a paid search program. In order to boost revenue and sales via email and SMS outreach while increasing list size and customer segment quality, our agency redesigned the look and feel to reflect their hospitality brand’s premium nature, partnering to orchestrate ongoing campaigns, revamp content strategy and messaging, and optimize automated touchpoints. In the meantime, paid search focused on building a sales funnel, developing first-party audience sources, driving calls/bookings, and integrating Google ads into broader marketing to complement media buying.

To truly entice guests, email creative had to convey the sense of their experience—to feel like a whisper yet have the impact of a shout. A full audit of BOLT's email landscape extended into an evolution of design and messaging. We developed a universal email theme with flexible components to elevate the brand's visual identity and refined messaging to best reflect the transcendent guest experience.

The design system begins with an immersive header that draws you in. It adds interactive, dynamic elements. Then layers in proof points, like “As Seen In” review-focused blocks, awards, and a hard-working footer with links to key conversion points.

Fully Managed Program for Maximum Impact

Managing the details of execution meant the opportunity to optimize the channels and system fully. Email was honed in to manage customer data and preferences, connect to social and PR efforts, retool lead gen lanes via A/B testing, migrate to Hubspot CRM, extend booking windows farther from stay dates, and layer in upsells and ancillary revenue streams. Paid search re-captured awareness and interest to drive users down-funnel to call/book through search terms, seized inbound interest through non-brand stay intent, drive more call leads, expand into PMAX campaigns, and scale budgets to top-performing campaigns.
