Kimpton Hotels has always been a “high-touch” brand – it’s made them a pioneer in boutique hospitality. This iPad-based tool gives their sales team a valuable ally to extend that personal touch with clients to book events, meetings, weddings, and groups. It's another milestone in FINE's ongoing effort to bring Kimpton's industry-leading style to all brand touchpoints.
The Big Picture + Small Details
The app visualizes Kimpton’s brand and Meetings & Events promise, then users dig deeper into imagery and specs for individual properties, including meeting and common spaces, guest rooms, and local attractions. It's all through a fluid, image-rich interface that supplements the sales process as never before, replacing ad hoc materials with an easily updated mobile presentation platform anyone can use.
A True Sales Sidekick
The design and UI are modeled as a helpful sidekick, not a proxy, for human connection. Sales staff can show clients hotels by region using a custom U.S. map, compare hotels by size, location, and amenities and images, then easily compile individual hotel sell sheets and comparison charts to send direct from the app to the client with a personal message and digital brochure.
Kimpton's iPad Sales "Sidekick" app is deployed in the field, enabling the kind of personal interaction Kimpton’s famous for, now with a high-touch meets high-tech feel.
A browser is like the car you drive around the Internet. Any old piece of junk will do, but what we all really pine for is speed, luxury, and reliability. Here’s the thing about browsers though: you can get all of that for free. Unlike that new tricked out Benz, a state-of-the-art browser, complete with air conditioning and free of that weird rattling noise, is just a click away.
So scrap this old explorer and discover all the fun you’ve been missing.
