Celebrating the vision, originality, and impact of creative communication work, the award places the festival’s Crescendo in Blue branding among the most inspiring exhibitions worldwide. Here’s a recap of our agency’swork.

The Award-Winning Exhibition Design
The Monterey Jazz Festival (MJF), the longest-running jazz festival in the world and a landmark cultural event since 1958, draws thousands of music lovers to California each year. For its 68th edition, FINE partnered with the festival to design Crescendo in Blue, an immersive exhibition experience that celebrates MJF’s musical legacy and vibrant community. The branding spans wayfinding, signage, and festival environments, using bold color, dynamic typography, and layered graphics to guide attendees and amplify the festival’s energy. Every touchpoint was crafted to engage visitors, highlight performances, and elevate the in-person experience—culminating in an exhibition environment that deepened audience connection, sparked discovery, and made the festival’s history feel newly alive for longtime fans and first-time attendees alike.
