A Warm Welcome to Lingua Franca Wines

Posted in Work

Known for producing exceptional Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, the Eola-Amity Hills AVA in the Willamette Valley is also home to some of Oregon’s most prestigious wineries. The latest to break ground is Lingua Franca — a new, state-of-the-art winery from renowned restauranteur and Master Sommelier Larry Stone. Aptly alluding to the universal language of wine, the name Lingua Franca defines a philosophy focused on authentic flavors and aromas of place.

The new microsite for Lingua Franca faithfully translates all the remarkable attributes of this new vineyard site, from the ambitious design of this “winemaker’s winery,” to the diverse talent behind the venture, to time-honored winemaking practices that let the land speak for itself.

Lingua Franca anticipates their first vintage from 2015 will hit the market later this year, with more information about individual wine offerings on the way. Until then, the site presents an alluring interpretation of what’s to come.
