The results are in for the 7th edition of the Creative Communication Award (C2A), and we’re thrilled to announce that FINE partner Slabtown Square has been recognized as a Winner in the Branding / Brand Design category at this year’s competition. Celebrating the vision, originality, and impact of creative communication work, the award places Slabtown among the world’s most inspiring brand identities worldwide. Award-Winning Property Branding
Rooted in a rich industrial past and reimagined for a vibrant, modern future, Slabtown Square is a new residential property development that’s designed to become the defining cultural and commercial center of Portland’s Slabtown district. Our branding agency collaborated with Cairn Pacific and Capstone Partners to craft a property brand that honors the character of the neighborhood while signaling what’s next. Drawing on the site's history of mills, makers, and material craft, the identity blends tactile textures, custom typography, and a flexible visual system built for wayfinding, storytelling, and placemaking. The result is a brand that feels both grounded and forward-looking—an essential foundation for a district built to bring people together.
