The Role

As a Project Manager at FINE, you’re a key player in the middle of our client relationships and our internal teams helping make sure all have the tools, timing, and information they need to keep our initiatives moving.

Your role will be to manage teams, tasks, budgets, and schedules on a day-to-day basis to create superlative projects and super-happy clients. You’ll collaborate actively in all directions, working through project challenges toward business opportunities. You’ll serve as an information hub, distilling input from the client and making it easy and actionable to understand and respond.

You’ll be detail-oriented, making sure the key considerations and elements come through in the finished deliverables. You’ll be able to apply your core skills to a variety of project types across our company, while partnering with experts in brand and digital, and marketing along the way. You’ll have some digital project knowledge in how digital features and basic integrations work. Most of all, you’ll have a desire to continuously find better ways to do your job and improve our approach.


  • Oversee activities and profitability of all accounts that are ongoing engagement retainers for integrated services
  • Foster and grow program accounts, maintaining client satisfaction, profitability, and results long after initial project completion
  • Manage all day-to-day efforts associated with assigned projects including clients and internal project teams
  • Develop and manage project plans and documentation
  • Assist in project quality assurance
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Provide award-winning client service
  • Support client goals with strategic solutions


  • 2-3 years experience managing multi-disciplinary projects in a fast-paced, service-oriented agency or similar company
  • Familiarity with brand and marketing communication, tools and channels
  • Ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects and tasks at once
  • 'Think on your feet' and come up with creative and appropriate solutions that wow clients and internal collaborators while staying within scope
  • Exceptional, clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Extremely well organized, thorough, and diligent with methods and systems to keep complex undertakings on track
  • Good client-facing and project management skills to help identify needs, fill in blanks, solve problems, and keep team deliverables flowing

The Location
This Project Manager job opening is for our Portland, Oregon office, with the potential to work remotely within the United States. Located in a newly renovated building in downtown Portland, the FINE PDX office is cozy, collaborative, and comfortable. Each unique space was designed with multiple uses in mind, whether a strategy session on the collaboration wall, refining a design idea over a cup of coffee in the Bistro, or visiting with a client in the Library. Note: As of Q4 2020, FINE employees are working remotely during the pandemic.
