Continuum Estate was founded in 2005 by members of a wine royal family - The Mondavis. The goal: a single, elegant estate wine. Reflecting that clear vision, a single, focused brand unfolds dramatically as you arrive on this website.
Function Helps the Story Unfold
Inspired by the name, the site operates as a holistic continuum, navigable as a linear reel, in one of the more overt examples of how site behavior and interaction can tell a story with as much brand impact as words and imagery.
Responsive Design Translates the Original Cinematic Drama to the Small Screen.
For a celebrated rejuvenation of the original design, FINE retrofitted the original Flash site with a fully responsive solution to enable mobile and tablet viewing. Users now blaze through a best-in-breed responsive experience.
A Guiding Light
The website design was inspired by the shimmering “Light of the Vine” original painting by Chiara Mondavi, which also graces the Continuum labels.
